Chatting with Ritchie

Beyond just being a cute face on a button, Ritchie is your built-in AI assistant, ready to help you with questions about your inventory or how to use Space.

How to Start a Chat

You can start a conversation with Ritchie from any main page in the app.

1. Tap the main action button in the corner (with Ritchie’s face) to expand the menu.
2. Tap the Chat with Ritchie icon (it looks like a speech bubble).
3. A chat window will slide up from the bottom of the screen.

Asking Questions

You can ask Ritchie questions in natural language, just like you’re talking to a person. Type your message in the input bar at the bottom and tap the Send icon.

Here are some examples of things you can ask:

• How-to Questions: “How do I create a new collection?”
• Finding Items: “Find all items tagged ‘prop’ that are in the Main Warehouse.”
• Checking Status: “Are there any items that are currently marked as damaged?”

Ritchie will do his best to understand your request and provide a helpful answer, sometimes even suggesting actions you can take within the app.

Ritchie’s Tip: I’m always learning, but sometimes I might make a mistake! It’s a good idea to double-check any critical information I give you. Your feedback helps me get smarter!

When you’re finished with the conversation, simply close the chat window to return to your previous screen.
