Viewing Your Allocations

You can see your upcoming and past Allocations from a few different places in Space.

The Overview Page

Your main Overview page contains an “Upcoming Allocations” section. This gives you a quick, at-a-glance look at the events and leases that are happening soon, sorted by their start date.

The Ledger Page

For a complete history, navigate to the Ledger page. Here you will see a list of all allocations, with the most recent at the top.

  • Filtering: You can use the filter bar at the top of the page to narrow down the list. You can filter by the allocation’s name, the associated person/entity, or by its type (e.g., show only Events).
  • Loading More: If you have a long history, use the Load More button at the bottom of the list to view older entries.

Viewing Allocation Details

From either the Overview or Ledger page, simply click on any allocation card to open its detail page. This is where you can see all the information associated with it, including which specific items are part of it.

Adding and Removing Items

The detail page for an Allocation is where you manage its contents.

To Add Items:

  1. On the allocation’s detail page, find the “Items” section and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Add Item button.
  3. This will open the Item Picker, a full-screen search interface.
  4. Search for the items you need and click on their cards to select them.
  5. Once you’ve selected all the necessary items, click the Add [X] Item(s) button.
  6. The items will now appear in the “Items” list for that allocation.
  7. Click the Done button in the “Items” section to save your changes.

To Remove an Item:

  1. In the “Items” section, click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the small remove icon (a minus sign) on the top corner of the item card you wish to remove.
  3. Confirm the removal.
  4. Click Done to save.

Ritchie’s Tip: Adding items to an Allocation is the best way to prevent scheduling conflicts. If you try to add an item that’s already booked for an overlapping period, I’ll be sure to let you know!
